Workshop Objective
We come together to lay the foundations of change. When we can move out of survival mode in our day to day lives, we can thrive. In this workshop, we will be working with the herd of Indian Springs Farm, using Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) techniques, meditative practices, and sound healing to help us become who we are meant to be. We will be delving into the understanding of how energy moves and affects the body and creates a platform for becoming the best version of ourselves. The horses will help us develop new awareness and learn a new way to live and interact in relationships. Participants will leave with new knowledge and practices to take home and utilize in their daily life.
Logistics
On Saturday, we will lay the groundwork, and on Sunday, we will practice what we have learned.
Because studies show that the best way to create lasting change is to take people out of their environment, we ask students to stay here for the weekend or in lodging nearby. Limited space in the house and camping spots on the land is available at no extra charge. Participants who must return home are still welcome to join us.
We will be providing coffee and refreshments in the mornings and a healthy lunch.
Dinner is not included; however, participants are encouraged to bring something to share.
There will be a community fire and drum circle Saturday evening.
Limit 6 participants for this workshop.
We will practice awareness around social distancing.
